The three oldest ended up with a Microsoft generic video driver, but I was able to find drivers for two that installed and ran OK.ĭon't worry about drivers. All five upgrades worked fine and all five Win 10s worked fine. They never OKed any of mine that I had registered and I was sent only one message, that the D9100 would not upgrade because of a video driver incompatibility. I ignored anything Dell had said and ignored Microsoft. The Dell on-line support wizard indicates that I have the latest BIOS installed.
The Windows 10 setup wizard returns an error 'BIOS isnt supported'. Are you assuming that it won't upgrade because Dell hasn't given it's blessing?
